I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a great Valentine's Day! I feel like this week brings lots of holidays, yesterday was also Chinese New Year, today is President's Day, tomorrow is Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), then we have Ash Wednesday to kick of the season of Lent. I still need to figure out what I'm giving up this year, maybe soda or caffeine? Do any of yall celebrate Lent and if so what are you abstaining for this year?
Monday: Appetizer Night!
Tuesday: My Aunt's recipe for Gumbo and maybe some boudin balls from our local Cajun restaurant(my family in Louisiana should be proud)
Wednesday: Steamy Kitchen's Beer Steamed Clams
Thursday: Chicken Scallopine
Friday: Date Night at a local Mexican restaurant
Saturday: Homemade Takeout (so far just egg drop soup & gyoza but looking for a good spring roll recipe and sesame chicken recipe, any suggestions?)
Sunday: My mom's Slow cooker Pot Roast/Beef Stew
